I absolutely liked their dishes and customer service, excellent location next to my residence. The workers are always very friendly. Will visit here again.

I've been enjoying the beer here since the doors opened in 1994. I've always been able to find a beer that well-suited my thirst the day I went for it, and my standard is their Scotch Ale. A friend of mine stopped by my place, and after sitting around chewing the fat for a while, suggested we have dinner together. Various options were discussed when I thought of The Great Dane, which I hadn't been to recently, as I'd been living quite far away from it. We agreed to drive up and either have a beer while waiting for a take-out order, or eat at the Pub is the noise level and table room suited us. It did, and we ordered and ate and drank at the main bar. My friend had a glass of German Pilsner and enjoyed it. I had my usual Scotch Ale, and found that the recipe had clearly changed since I'd last had it, but was still a knockout. My friend's New London Bridge Fish Fry was fine, and my Porchetta was pretty darned good.

My server, Maggie, was wonderful, attentive but not intrusive. The garden patio lounge is pleasant & non-smoking. Music wasn't so loud that we had to "yell" to conversate.I enjoyed watching the wind move across the wall of ivy.The sweet potato fries & fried plantains were very tasty. There's a beer for every palate.I highly recommend this place to celebrate any occasion.
